When the sixth sense wakes up
How many times have you felt or seen something that had already happened to you?
Or had the feeling that it was something new and very strange?
We often call these moments synchronicity. During an awakening, they work like a highlighter. They show us what is around us. We don't always know what kind of guidance we need. We don't even know if it's just our mind making up pictures that mean nothing, but that we want to give meaning to.
Many people have these experiences. Yet it's hard to find anyone to share them with. The moment you open up in a different circle, maybe your own family, you realise that few people understand what is happening to you. So you close up again. You tell yourself it's just your imagination. Or a way of escaping the present.
The truth is that we are surrounded by a very different spiritual level. Being aware and truly present is a hard quality to have.
Life changes often come to us through intuition, what we call a "gut feeling". But there is no absolute truth in what we feel. It could be our imagination. It could also be a signal that we simply need to notice, by looking at details other people don't see.
Everyone has their own path in the world of spirituality, and everyone lives it in their own way.
My story
I have a very scientific mind. For a long time, I looked for a scientific explanation for everything that happened to me. Then I started to feel, and this became my way of living. I tell myself: yes, science is all around us. But there is also a world of things that have no specific meaning. That's why you need an open mind. Truly open, without deciding in advance that certain things don't exist or are just a way of hiding.
I still remember the first time. During a massage, one of my teachers said to me: "You have to feel the energy of the body. You have to feel the soul of the body." To me, it was impossible. I wasn't comfortable at all. I thought: magic doesn't exist, so what am I supposed to feel? It's just my hands on a body.
But in that moment, I felt the person under my hands as energy.
Does it have a scientific explanation? I don't know. Maybe it does, but I don't care. What I do know is that in more than 20 years on my spiritual path, I have experienced many things for myself. When you experience something physically and energetically in a way that changes you, it's like riding a bike. You never forget it. You've learnt it, you've felt it, and you want to know more.
The questions people ask me
People often ask me: "How do you know it's your intuition? How do you get guidance?" To many of these questions, there is no answer.
There is also a sad truth. All around us, there are people who do this work without dignity. They only think about the money, and they take it from people who desperately need comfort. That is very different from conscious spirituality, which doesn't need anything fancy and asks the person to walk their own journey with a proper guide.
We can all feel. I believe we all have a sixth sense. I think it's a sense we have lost, and it needs to be rediscovered and retrained. When we come back into contact with that more primitive part of ourselves, possibilities open up that we never imagined. I'm not sure it happens to everyone. I know it happened to me.
Why I'm writing
I want to tell my story without shame, even though some people will understand and some won't.
This path is not for everyone. If you don't want to understand, that's OK. It's your choice.
If you want to be part of this journey, you'll find in me a companion, a guide, and sometimes an inspiration.
